cutting oversize movie to fit on 2 cd's

l have encoded my movie and wish to cut it in half so l can place them onto 2 cd's but l tried file splitter and it won't let me copy the second part of the movie , can anyone tell me how l can cut my movie with tmpgenc because l heard you can do it in there , any help would be appreciated , thanks
