    I received an error code when trying to install the binary files - "Improper use of the sudo" but I can't resolve. Please help..

    There is a standard warning message the first time you use the sudo command (I assume that's what you saw -- a paragraph or so), ending with a request for your password. Just give it what it's asking for, and the command will execute.

    Future invocations of the sudo command will not bring up the warning; you will be asked for the password each time, however.
