    Hello everybody,

I have a movie in .ts format which I recorded with my satellite receiver. I have copied this movie on an usb HDD and I can play it on my computer using VLC player. In VLC player I can choose one of the 3 available audio tracks. The problem occurs when I play the .ts movie on my Bluray player (BD-H6500): I cannot change the audio track, the menu doesn't appear at all, as I would have only one audio track.
I tried something else: I used Handbrake to convert the .ts file to mp4, also selecting all available audio tracks. The .mp4 file plays perfectly on the BD-H6500 and also the audio tracks are available. Though, I would like to play directly the .ts file on the Bluray player, because the conversion needs some additional time and (in my opinion) there is also a litthe loss of video quality...
Do somebody knows what could be the problem?
Thanks in advance for your answers!

    Conrad

Can't you just "repackage" it to MP4 without re-encoding?

  4. Repack with tsMuxeR GUI and untick the audio tracks you don't want.
Or for Samsung repack with MKVToolnix to .mkv. Select the default audio track or untick the two you don't want.
