Very helpful. I tried your code and it works. But the download speed is quite slow which is only about 150kb/s, is there any other way to download it besides youtube-dl? Both paid and free programs are acceptable. Thank you!

I have noticed mega differences in larger files ~10x difference, using standard aria2c over -N 16

@Jagabo no need to type --concurrent-fragments --- you can just add -N 16 to your syntax if you don't want aria2c as an external downloader (16 is the max though). Default is 1 so that is much faster than doing nothing.

There is even a modded aria2c available which is even faster than the standard one and has unlimited fragments downloading.

Thanks for the details. I went ahead an tried it out and area2c is definitely faster. I believe the major speed improvement is that it downloads all the fragments first, then concatenates them. Whereas yt-dlp concatenates fragments as they are downloaded -- so any delayed fragment delays the entire process. So the tradeoff is the 2x temporary storage for faster downloads.

Or, to make it simpler, use some screen recording tools like OBS, RecMaster, etc.
