Here's one I may have posted a while back. This is the still version

There is also a motion version (actually, a couple of variants) with the eye looking around.

here is my work, its an collectors DVD for a turkish TV-Series called "Kurtlar Vadisi". What means "Wolfes valley".
The story, a special agent is working undercover in the mafia.

There is no officila DVD out and planned, so i've made a DVD from the current official VCD's of the series.

I've coded the VCD's to MPEG-2 with an bitrate to fit 10 series on one DVD5.
The bitrate is approximatly at 900Kbit/s with an 128Kbit audio channel.
The quality of the movie is poor (source VCD), there are high quality tv-rips of the series out but i wont use them. The logo of the channel (ShowTV) and the commertial banners during the movie are not acceptable for uset them for DVD.

I've made the DVD's complete with DVD-Box cover, DVD-Lable and an interactive menu.

You can find screenshots and the DVD-menu for downloading below.

    Menü preview

    DVD Folder menu: http://rapidshare.de/files/2761547/jak_omo.KV.MENU.DVD.3.rar.html

Sources are orginal VCD, coding settings:
    Video: MPEG-2, PAL, 352x288, Progressive, 25 fps
    VBR 2-Pass: max 9200, min 0, avarage 990kbit/s - 750kbit/s
Motion Search Precision: Highest with error correction
    DC precision: 9bit
    Closed GOP

Audio: MPEG-1 Audio Layer II, 48000Hz, Stereo, 128kbits/sec

There are 4 DVDs out at the moment

    DVD I: Series 01 - 09
    DVD II: Series 10 - 19
    DVD III: Series 20 - 29
    DVD IV: Series 30 - 39

    Hi everybody!

Just to share with you, my two latest animated menus made with VirtualDubMPEG (Logo, resize, crop, etc. filters) I have just rendered and used in a new DVD (StarGate film ripped from a DVD+RW disc recorded from a TV Channel with a LG DVR DVD recorder: erased commercials with Cuttermaran) authored with DVDStyler. Features: both menus have motion backgrounds from the film. The thumbnails for main movie, chapter menu and chapters are also part of the main film, are animated (made in VirtualDubMPEG). Very, very easy method to create your own animated menus for free!!

To know how, search this wonderful website or ask me! (Unless you are a DVD guru and I must ask you some questions about fade in, fade out of the motion thumbnails and menus I am wondering how to do now!!!)

    Regards

Those are awesome menus my friend. I have only created still image menus for the few dvds that I have needed them for. I will post them when I get home.

  12. Nothing super fancy, but here are a few of my Doctor Who menus created with DVD-Lab Pro.

Doctor Who Movie - The Enemy Within - Paul McGann as The Doctor

These next ones are an episodic disc I made from the first two episodes of the 2006 season of Doctor Who featuring David Tennant as The Doctor. There is a main menu, and each episode has it's own sub-menu.

    Main Menu:

    New Earth Menu:

    Tooth and Claw Menu:

My Chapter menus are pretty generic. I just use the same background with the six thumbnail view template.

  13. i dont have any samples ready myself, but so far a lot of yours look way better than mine, normally i just use a simple backdrop (generally a plain color, something like that) then just link up everything else and throw a title at the top of the screen........i've still got a lot to learn with dvdlab though, im at the point where TDA doesnt do quite enough for me, but i've still got a large chunk to learn with dvdlab......

  14. I think I posted a few menu designs in another thread a long time ago, but I figured I may as well again:

I have more samples on my site.

This is about the only elaborate menu I've ever bothered with. Used DVD-Lab for this, but mostly I use TDA (if any) default menu.
