Hi Everyone , I just bought the new Yamaha CDRW-F1 drive a couple days ago. The one that "T@2's" your cds. Well my question is,
Does anyone know what brand produces DARK Blue underbottom cd's, not light green or light blue, i'm talking about dark blue. I thought TDK and Imation used to produce those but I bought some and they're Light Green The reason I ask this is because if the media is to light you cant see the T@2. If anyone could help me out, that would be great!
Other than that, the CD-Writer is bad ass!
Thanks

Don't know "who" makes them, but all of my CompUSA brand CD-Rs happen to be dark blue (with a greenish hue depending on how you hold them).
I'm not sure how much it will help, what you need is contrast ratio, and the blues don't appear to be any better than the light green/silver.
Have you tried any gold/gold discs? I seem to remember they have a pretty easy to spot differentiation between written and unwritten areas.
