  1. i have an anime video that i want to upscale the thing is i ran into a lot of trouble trying to do so since i am not experienced in this field, i tried using avspmod to add a simple script.
    "converttoyv12() aWarpSharp(depth=16.0, blurlevel=2)"
    and ran in trough megui and it came all ****ed up with worse quality the sound is fast forwarding and it cropped to 3:4 and not 16:9 like it was originally
    my question is simple

    how can i apply certain filters and then spit out a new video file which is like the original but upscaled with filters without all the weird stuff around

    here is a shot from the video if some experts could recommend other scripts

    Hi,

    could you first explain what you expected aWarpSharp() to do? Instructions are available here.

    Your screenshot is already at 1920x1080, i.e. high definition. Do you wish to upscale it further or did you start out with something smaller originally?

    "Filters" aren't a magical cure. You need to examine your video, recognize the issues it has, and choose a suitable filter combination with appropriate parameters.
