I use ffdshow to put subtitles in AVI movies, and then I go to TMPGENC, make the DirectShow priority higher and make a VCD.
The problem is: when I try to put subtitles in a MPEG movie, I canīt make it... I turn on the MPEG1 in ffdshow, watch in media player classic and ffdshow is working perfectly, but when I pass to TMPGENC it encodes without ffdshow...
I did this using frameserver from VirtualDub, but is there a way to do this using ffdshow? because itīs faster heheheheheheh

Guess TMPGEnc uses its internal decoder for MPEG1, no matter what you have the directshow priority set to.

You could try frameserving with AVISynth instead of VDub.
