Use ffdshow in MPEG1 files

I use ffdshow to put subtitles in AVI movies, and then I go to TMPGENC, make the DirectShow priority higher and make a VCD.
The problem is: when I try to put subtitles in a MPEG movie, I can´t make it... I turn on the MPEG1 in ffdshow, watch in media player classic and ffdshow is working perfectly, but when I pass to TMPGENC it encodes without ffdshow...
I did this using frameserver from VirtualDub, but is there a way to do this using ffdshow? because it´s faster heheheheheheh

Guess TMPGEnc uses its internal decoder for MPEG1, no matter what you have the directshow priority set to.

You could try frameserving with AVISynth instead of VDub.
