I am running an old version of CDex (1.51)

I basically use it to rip old voice audio recordings (baseball radio broadcasts on CD) to mp3.

Is there a reason to upgrade to a later version and if so, is there a safe download site that won't include a lot of other programs I don't want?

1.79 seems to be the latest version, but it does have adware, which you can avoid when installing.
It's available on our site, virus free. https://www.videohelp.com/software/CDex

1.77 is the last version without adware. There is a changelog there also to show what changes have been made in the newer versions.
I use 1.51 myself. No reason for me to update.

    Is your version still working?
If yes....then the answer is NO.

  4. Hi,

Is there any differences between CDex 1.77 and 1.79 (apart from adware)?

    Thank you
