  1. I downloaded the new prgm, it seems to work just fine on vcd to dvd. When I try to load my svcd files I get an error message which says 480x480 pixels is not acceptable for conversion. It just refuses to load them.

These files were created by Studio 8 which uses 480x480 as standard!??

How do I get around this?

  3. Guess Not! Sorry, thought the title was generic. I'm doing what the title suggests, but not with that product.

Well whilst your here - you need to:
    1. patch your mpegs to 352 horizontal resolution.
    2. Author with TMPGEnc Author - to VIDEO_TS folder
    3. Then repatch vobs to 480.
    4. Burn VIDEO_TS folder

    1 & 3 can be done manually(one at a time) using DVDPatcher or automatically(batched) using....... SVCD2DVDMPG!!!

  5. Thanks for the tip.

My problems grow worse tho- I finally recaptured the digital master tape, and created a DVD mpeg, authored with Tmpg, burned with nero. I get great video, NO audio on my RCA standalone (it's there when played on my computer). I did follow the guide and burned using UDFISO ... I can move around the menus fine for the 3 videos, but no sound at all.

I should probably take all this the the other forum. I'm getting depressed.

    Thanks

  7. I'm ntsc, audio is 48, the file created is a vob ... demuxed it shows up as mp2 (not mpa). When I author the demuxed version it all ends up in the vob file like before.

Somebody suggested my RCA standalone can't handle vob, and I should try to find an author which does ac3. I'm trying to look into that.
