Hi,
I'm interested in messing around with some coding for DVD programs and was wondering where everyone finds the file layouts for the DVD file types, such as .VOB, .IFO, etc.? I'm sure there has to be documentation somewhere. If anyone has any links I'd appreciate it.
Thanks.
Try StreamFab Downloader and download from Netflix, Amazon, Youtube! Or Try DVDFab and copy Blu-rays! or rip iTunes movies!

The DVD specification is only given for a fee and under a non-disclosure agreement. Next best thing is to use IFOEdit and open IFO files. Further info can be found at the IFOEdit site.
The more I learn, the more I come to realize how little it is I know. -
There is some pretty detailed information in the book DVDDemystified. The third edition is coming out soon. It is claimed to be the reference book for those who can't afford or do not have access to the official DVD specifications. I have the second edition and I must admit the most technical parts are over my head.

Cool, thanks all.
Do you know about when the third edition of the book is supposed to be released? -
Actually, I just checked Amazon and they already have the third edition.
