Hi folks, looking for a recommendation on a VLC substitute.
Short context: I’ve come across a system where VLC is failing to play on a second monitor. I’m very familiar with VLC and applied the same documented settings as another working system has, but for some reason this particular PC is having issues and will only play on Display 1. I’m ready to cut my losses and move on.
Requirements:
Controller UI on primary monitor
One-click play that shows video full screen on second monitor
No ads (or able to purchase an ad-free version)
Plays well with other apps also using the second monitor
Not an orphan (updated at least every few months)
Windows 11 OS
Before I start testing a bunch of apps, thought I would ask what the most popular ones are that would support this. Thanks in advance!
Try StreamFab Downloader and download from Netflix, Amazon, Youtube! Or Try DVDFab and copy Blu-rays! or rip iTunes movies!
