    Hi, I have issued a command to hardcode a subtitle srt file to a movie. When it finished , it shows, data on video, audio, etc. I found that it showed 0 bytes on subtitle .But on playing the video, i could see the subtitles hardcorded correctly.
    I find ffmpeg has it all , than many of the pro video converters.

  2. hard subs means the subs are burned permanently to the video..

    Hi, teo, sorry,
    Do you mean to say that once written correctly,it will show nil bytes in the last statistics.
    OK, now i understand that , once hard coded , it is not shown.
    But in some videos, where the subtitles are coded, that shows subtitle also in the codec tab in vlc media player
    i mistook your answer as an answer to the other thread i raised.
