Unassigning the Spacebar in IrfanView?

I have searched the settings long & hard viewed ini files & I don't know how to do this. Just won't to disable any function spacebar does. It's too easy to accidental press & serves me no use, just looking for the simplest way to achieve this? Searching on google was not bringing up anything specific.

It seems IrfanView's keyboard shortcuts are 'hardcoded', i.e., we the users cannot modify or remove them : -/
