Connection help please

I have a logitech z506 sound system and an Hitachi dv bp100uk Blu Ray player and a Luxor 42" HD TV

I thought i had set it up correctly, alas no

The surround sound works fine as i tested it through the BluRay

I have the TV set to HDMI1 and the Bray to HDMI2, TV works fine

Switch to HDMI2 and i get no picture but great sound, now if i switch back to HDMI1 the sound from HDMI2 is also there, so i probably done something wrong here. (edit as it does it withh both HDMI's)

Although when i switch to BLuray the Hitachi Logo is displayed on the screen, but then black only

I wondered if anyone could help please

EXT2 gets a TV picture as does ext2S (although B&W), bit unclear as to why as i couldnt get a picture through these before

is the blu-ray set to export video over hdmi? it most likely also has component and composite outputs, try one of those into the tv and see if you get a picture. then use the setup menu to choose hdmi out.

what do you mean the tv is set to hdmi1? the tv itself doesn't need an input, do you mean cable tv input or something?
