    Hi.
    I have some video files whose extension is missing (erroneously not saved when the videos were copied to the hard drive).

    The source of these videos no longer has them on their website otherwise I could have matched and identified their proper extensions from there.

    In order to enable correct editing in future (when required), I want to identify and then assign their actual extension to them.

    Please advise some method to identify their file extensions / format.
