  1. I want to rip DVDs to either VCD or AVI. The main thing I want is to be able to keep the Dolby Digital/DTS soundtrack. Can someone recommend a program to do this with? Thanks!

  2. See the how to DVD RIP guide on the left of this site. VCD does'nt support dolby digital but you can have 5 channel AC3 sound with a divx.

  3. OK, I was looking at the different programs, but what one does the conversion (I can't find one that supports AC3/DTS)

  4. I have never encoded to ac3 although I have encoded from it, for this I used headac3he. You can get it here
