    i want to take screenshots of my processed video to compare different filters and what not and then upload to a website to show people...what is the best way to do this? other than hitting print screen?

    I would use a software player like WinDVD or PowerDVD. Each has a still capture function you can easily transfer. This one is PowerDVD capturing a scene from Star Trek: Nemesis reduced by MS Paint.

    before i was using the player that came with my video card (ati player) cos it had a snapshot function built right in...unfortunately it did a bad job of actually playing the file and even with filters and what not everything looked the same

    i will try power dvd...thanks!
