    Are there any experience playing MPEG2 File with
    higher resolution then 704x576?

  2. No one's posted on doing anything like this before...

    Even if they did though, it is unlikely that it will work (even DVD streams are only 720x576/480 ).

    And, even if it did work, there would be no point (your TV does not have the resolution of displaying this extra detail -- most TVs won't even show DVDs at their full glory).

    I know the restrictions for the TV, but if I play the
    File using a PC and a Beamer with 1024x768.... or greater?

    I have some material with a higher resolution (rendered video and Photos which I will put together, also 3 Videostreams with a resolution as high as possible in different parts on the screen...)

    Any ideas?

    Yes, I've done it. Your post doesn't really have a definitive question though.

    Anything other than 480x480 doesn't work on my Pioneer DV343 but plays fine on computer.
