The problem is that the vcdhelp server is so slow that the browser times out before it gets the info back. Hitting refresh to update the page sends the message again, so several posts is the result. Not sure why, but it takes many seconds to get a reply from the server now.

I thought it was me, but VCDHelp.com has become much slower than it used to be. Are there more visitors than usual or did they change servers?

I agree w/you aldus4. It seems that traffic may be bogging the site down.

it's the very high traffic that slows the site down...i'm maybe gonna move the forum to another server or something.

Such double posts have I already stopped...with a check if the msg has been posted. But if anyone uses the back button direct after posted a message and change something and posts again...that cant I stop.
