    Hey all,
I have a DVD rip of a music video that I'm hoping to improve, as it's got some color issues.
I have attached some screenshots, it's a DMX video from 2000. The issue is the multi-color "fringing" or "bleeding" around the jewelry, looks awful.
What is this called and which filters/method would be best to try on it?
    Thanks!

    1. AFAIK that's not bleeding

    2. There are bunch of rainbow removing scripts on avisynth wiki. You can try using some of them

  4. Yes, those are rainbow artifacts, not bleeding. They are the result of high frequency luma content interfering with the chroma subcarrier in a component video signal.
