    It depends on your what you want to do with your small file. If it means giving it to somebody unknown, then wmv is the most compatible.

  9. Almost everything I do is destined for DVD so the only option is MPEG2/MPEG1.

    Matters what you mena by small.


    For tiny I use WMV. By tiny I mean, if it need to be less than 100MB.


    Anything larger and I go with MPEG2.

    im either xvid or divx.. i havnet tried wmv9 but i like the quality vs file size.. and i have a divx/xvid dvd player it might play wmv too.. but ive never seen real good guality from that format. prolly cuz i stoped looking
