  1. This seems backwards. I usually have problems getting my Samsung to play files that are fine on PC.

    Samsung - 60 Class (60 Diag.) - LED - 2160p - Smart - 4K Ultra HD TV
Model: UN60KU6300FXZA Updated firmware major version: 1250

.TS files made with Hauppauge 1512
    Edited with Videoredo V6

I have been testing and testing some edited .TS recordings. I've done quick stream fixes saved to mp4 which would have stutter/flicker on the TV but not on PC.

Then tried the MKV container and viola! Perfect on the TV but all kinds of pixelization playback on desktop Windows 10

Very strange. I still have the master files which play fine unedited with the project file with cut points if needed.

Can you post mediainfo of the mp4 and mkv files
It's not important the problem be solved, only that the blame for the mistake is assigned correctly

try redoing the MKV video with GPU Acceleration disabled and see if you still get pixeliation.

Mediainfo looks fine, are you using the built in Windows 10 player? or say VLC? Do you have the newest drivers for your video card?
