    Hi guys!

Just got an iPhone 14 Pro. Great phone! Been recording video in ProRes at 30fps at 4K. Love it! Does anyone know a way to edit them and then export them in the same format? I’ve used iMovie on my phone and cropped some out, but it saves as H264 videos. I know I could get the Adobe programs for my PC, but I can’t afford them. And I would also like to do them directly on my phone.

    Thanks!

Looks like the only way to export prores is through airdrop, icloud or lightning cable.

Thanks for the replies. I don’t mean transferring them. That is fine. I mean editing. As soon as you make any changes like filters or crops, it only saves as H264 and the file size drops from gigs to megs. I’m looking to edit and output as ProRes.

    Thanks

I would like to keep the files in the ProRes format no matter the file size.

Found a solution! For anyone having the same issue, download LumaVision from the App Store! 25 pounds but worth it!
