So I went to the Thrift Store today and picked up a Mitsubishi Hs-Hd2000u for $5, on the from there is a DNR and TBC button, and a Toshiba D-VR5su VCR/DVD Recorder combo.

From what I see searching on Google the Mitsu is a good player.

The DVD recorder in the combo is so-so. Forget about the combo's VCR section.

Wish the [people that ran the thrift store in my town were that dumb. Here, everything is overpriced. Most of it I could get for less on Ebay. Well, somebody has to pay Goodwill CEO's ridiculous 400k salary. I almost never go there any more. Waste of time. If I do go. 90% of the time I walk out empty handed. That item would have been 10% more than the going rate at my local Goodwill.
