    Hello folks,

Those pics are taken from a VHS capture. The tape is very precious to me, so I would like to have a digital copy. About the VHS tape: PAL-M, recorded in 1988 using the EP/SLP speed.

How can I filter this the best way?

    Thank you!

It looks like this video has lots of problems. If that's all you have to work with, I would try Virtualdubmod. It's available in the 'Tools' section. I am assuming it is a Mpeg file. Anyway, try all the filters. There are quite a few available for Virtualdub (check the website). You can probably clean it up a bit, but don't expect miracles. Usually the best you can do is stabalize the video, and correct some of the colors, contrast and brightness.
