Subrip: "This subtitle item can't be processed" issue

Some months ago I used the program and it worked great (hard work but it was working). Now I'm getting this message every time.
"This subtitle item can't be processed."
Even though the characters are clear.
Am I missing something? I tried some older versions too.

I'm using the "Hard subbed video file" option. It can't recognize anything, the New character (matrix) window doesn't pop up at all. I tried a video with crystal clear subs and it should've open the window to add new characters. I don't thing I changed anything from the last time. :/
