    Hi,
I've ripped my old DVD's with DVD shrink, after kept the main .vob file and renamed it.
If I open the vob file with VLC, then I can choose to show subtitles and deside what soundchannal I like to listen.
My big question is then, if I would like to convert the files to MP4 or MKV or other format, what program should I use for convert?
I tried about 20 different programs that I google, and none of them give me the option to use the subtitles and like flatten the layers.
Is it possible to do direct from the vob file or not?

I would like to use the Danish subtitles.

-Even in VLC I tried to export, but can not have it to convert the subtitle too.
If i try to use Xilisoft DVD-Ripper, then it says me "invalid folder"
Handbrake I've tried too and Anywhere DVD.
very pity that I deleted all the other small files

Have you tried VobSub? That should work.

Hi and thx for fast reply!
It does not work, can't even open my vob file in it.
but I would prefer something so I don't need to first export the subtitles to an file and then add into again, maybe something that just work direct, and hopefully in a batch.
