Be more specific on what you are doing as the way you are wording it, it sounds like you are "converting" not simply "ripping".

Ripping gives you the exact same quality, size, video as the original DVD.

Yeah, if you were truly "ripping", you would arrive with copies of the original file with their original, in-sync quality.

Try ripping again just to make sure their wasn't a problem, If converting try using one of the free tools here, Some are very good.

  6. Use DVDFab HD Decryoter only to decrypt. Use something else to convert to MP4.

For converting, at best it's inferior to other tools. Try RipBot, XviD4PSP, many others.

I will use DVDFab Blu-ray to DVD Converter ( "I think" it use BD Shrink technology) to compress the file to a DVD5, then: reconvert again to mp4, using the regular DVDFab-9 or Vidcoder, etc.

Why make an extra step and take more time ?
The more conversions or compressions just reduces the quality even more!!

    What manono said.

Actually just "rip" the disc to remove any copy protection and have a 1:1 copy, then use what he said to convert it
to what format and size you want as your final product, I usually use handbrake.
