  1. I have been following leebears instructions for converting AVI to SVCD and am having some problems.

    I completed the encoding using CCE and DVD2SVCD.

    I am now at the steps using VCDEasy.

    Question 1:
    ========
    My first problem was, how do I know what the name of the MPEG2 file is created by DVD2SVCD (see cut below)? I think it is bbMPEG_Muxed_File.mpg

    Question 2:
    ========
    I started VCDEasy V1.1.2 and selected the above file (following the instructions from www.vcdeasy.org website). It hung for 6 hours with the please wait at the bottom at the bottom and the graph moving back and forth. Finally, I had to restore the task. My goal is to use Nero to burn the SVCD (like leebear in his instructions). Is there something wrong with VCDEasy or am I doing something wrong?

    Thanks,
    Rick

    System: dell pentium 4, 750mHz, Win98SP2, DVD2SVCD 1.09b3, CCE2.5, VCDEasy 1.1.2 (I downloaded this today).

  2. For those that like to hear me talk to myself ...

    For some reason once I rebooted my PC, I was able to get VCDEasy to run and create the bin and cue files.

    So, now I am off to search how to burn with Nero. I am making progress, slowly.

    Here is the results from VCDEasy:
    [Internal Xml Generation]
    Internally computed XML generated successfully as "C:\Program Files\DVD2SVCD\Rick\videocd.xml"

  3. Hi

    Why donīt u burn it with VCDEasy? Just put an CD-R into the slot and start encoding or (if u already have the cue/bin files) move to Tools and highlight the third map (i think ist the third). Then load the cue and burn it. Thats all!

    Good luck
