What is best for Long term storage DVD-R or DV+R! Also would the answer be the same when using different speeds and/or Dual/double layer. Is there any diference between Dual & double layer or are the just different terms?
TIA
Try StreamFab Downloader and download from Netflix, Amazon, Youtube! Or Try DVDFab and copy Blu-rays! or rip iTunes movies!

Being a DVD-R or DVD+R does not have any bearing, same goes to the writing speeds.
The quality of the media you use will be the factor that determines if the media will last in the long run (given that youre using a descent burner also).
Dual layer and double layer mean the same. -
FINALIZING will prevent others from erasing the "LONG TERM DATA" we
are trying to preserve here ......(inadvertently or maliciously speaking)
