    Has anybody tried to use VSDC to edit GoPro HEVC footages?
    For some reason, I'm not able to even preview it smoothly with it.
    Not even with a smallest resolution, preview can be done.
    There's one 21 second test file which will stop & jump several times during this time (21s).
    it's a plain video, no changes yet.
    With the same computer (Dell 7520, win 10), I can play two 8.51 minutes (GoPro HEVC) files simultaneously with VLC player.
    Doesn't sound like a hw problem.

    Am I missing something?

    No sounds like a software problem.
    VLC is probably using hardware decoding and 'VSDC' (whatever that is) not.
