Hi,
I have a SAMSUNG UE46B7000 and an WD My Book Elite connected to a Gigabit Modem/HUB.
The TV set its connected to the HUB via Cat5 ethernet cable and the WD disk via USB 2.0
I'm going to use Medi@2.0 of the TV set to watch HD movies.
Do you think I'll have enough speed using this combination? Why? Why not?
Would it be of any interest to use Cat6 cable?
Also, can I connect the WDTV to my HUB via USB or LAN and control it via my TV set (Content Player)?
I would like to buy the WDTV and connect it to my HUB (where my PC is) and whatch the files (HD) on my bedroom.
All the best,
Nunes

The WDTV is controlled only by the infrared remote, so you have to be close enough to the unit.
I'm assuming by 'HUB' you mean the modem/router? Hubs don't work very well with LAN systems as they don't handle data collisions. I only use routers and switches.
USB 2.0 should be able to handle HD video without a problem.
