When capturing video with Audials, what is the best format to use? I will be capturing from places where I have paid accounts such as Amazon video and Netflix. What am I looking for is best quality to file size ratio...kind of a happy medium. I realize 1920x is very crisp but very large file size, too. I will be viewing on avg size TV, like 48 inch screen.

  2. I hope you didn't pay money for that as there are free screen capture programs easily as good.

Best format? What are your choices? Are you planning on doing any editing or other work on the stream captures afterwards? Have you captured anything yet? Are you sure it's not only MP4 available?

My choices for format are very large. The only thing I might edit is beginning and end, to be sure it is correct. No garbage commercials on either end.

Capturing from paid sites is against forum rules.

"Do NOT talk about copying rented/subscription material
You are not allowed to rip/copy/record rented video. It includes streaming rented/subscribed video like netflix, itunes, hulu plus, etc."

This site has an entire thread title "Video Streaming Downloading", but no, don't talk about it, because it is against forum rules. LOL
