  1. Hi,
Here's a bunch of ts files.
    https://we.tl/t-iVAwU2g2jG
If you watch them, you'll see some contain a watermark.
The ones that contain a watermark, when you mediainfo those files, you'll see an extra "menu" entry.
This lead me to believe that it is kinda of a "soft" watermark and that it is removable.
However, I can't find a way to remove it.
Or I'm mistaken and this "menu" entry doesn't have anything to do with the watermark, and it is actually a hardcoded watermark.

    I tried ffmpeg -i .ts -c copy bla.mp4
the menu disappears from mediainfo but the watermark stays.

  2. Open it in VDub2. If the watermark is there then it's hardcoded into the video. These kinds of things are sometimes (rarely) created as subtitles and are easy enough to remove from the subtitle files. But, again, they won't show up in VDub2.

If the menu stream disappears from mediainfo after remux but the watermark stays then it's not "soft".

  4. Okay, thank you both. Opened in vdub, it's there. So, it's hardcoded.

  5. VoodooFX's InpaintDelogo AviSynth filter can remove hardcoded subtitles, if you're interested in trying to do that.

On such static and plain colors video, if logo doesn't cover some complex graphics then it would disappear almost without trace.
