    I was trying to take screenshots using MPC-HC but the screenshot saves in my monitor's res but i want to get the output in the actual res of the movie.

    What renderer are you using? I think EVR-CP should do what you want by default (and it's also MPC-HC's default renderer).
    If you are using madVR go into madVR settings -> "rendering" -> "screenshots" and set to "100% view" ("encoded video size" is for when you don't want it to stretch anamorphic video, I think).
