Wasn't it down saturday also?
Sourceforge has also problems, you can't upload files. Like I saw MPCHC 1.5.0 but you will just get a tiny part of the file when you download. And free-codecs.com is also down now and then....what's happening out there....Last edited by Baldrick; 31st Jan 2011 at 07:06.

Sourceforge's servers were the target of an attack, apparently: http://sourceforge.net/blog/sourceforge-net-attack/ A number of the services there are reportedly still down.

However, http://www.doom9.org/ is up, but that hasn't been updated for over a year.

I wonder if any of the doom9 regulars or mods will find this thread and let us know?
A google search for Doom9 forum down brings this thread up near the top.
It's amazing how much I use the doom9 forums for information and reference - there's lots of unique information there. And none of it is available in the internet archive because the whole lot is flagged as not for archiving (or has been for a few years at least - the very old stuff in partially there). It would be a very great shame to lose it all.
Cheers,
David. -

To my knowledge, the guy responsible for the server is on holiday right now, so that might be reason why resolving the outage takes longer than usual.
You know, Murphy's Law and so on
Also, if anybody cares, the German server is still up and running:

Just tried it and it's working OK must of only been down for short time
-
It hasn't been working for me for 2 days now. All other sites work (doom10.org for example). I'm checking now and still no connection
-
Atak - Check to see if you can get DNS information on forum.doom9.org. Some months ago I found out that my ISP tries to block access to certain websites by not allowing DNS to work on requests for those sites. I changed my DNS to OpenDNS (Google also has a free DNS service you can use) and my access was restored.
