    I want to know if export my videos after editing directly to dvd recorder its the best way to keep the video quality?

    and if I can export to the dvd recorder with Chapters?

    Depends on the DVD Recorder. Most only accept composite or S-Video inputs. Some will import a IEEE-1394 (Firewire) 480i DV stream. This will probably be your highest qualtiy option. Some others permit some kinds of file transfer to and from the hard disk in the DVD recorder.

    Firewire is better quality.

    DVD Recorders only accept video input. The video is hardware encoded to MPeg2 and recorded to the drive or disk. Simple menus are added in the DVD player when the DVD is burned. If you want different menus, you would reauthor the DVD in the computer.
