I need to amplify a video I captured with my phone. it has the audio but ambient hiss and the sound I need to here better needs to be amplified.

what software could I use to trim down the hiss just a smidge and amplify the other sound?

    thank you all

Install the FFmpeg component for Audacity, then you can drag and drop
The video into the program and the audio will be extracted

You don't have ANY details in your profile. Windows?? x64??
