  1. Hello people,

    this is my first post
i used the forum search alot for my questions but now i got a problem that i can't find in the forum.
I want to create a svcd with chapters.
I got a mpg file from tmpenc.
I cut it to 3 peaces.
The firts 2 peaces with chapters went well.
Got 2 bin file that i have burned to cd and works great.
But the last bin file i got a error.
I select the mpg file add chapters en when i want to make the bin file, it only creates the xml file and then gives me an error.

Copy from log file: 0 [main] vcdxbuild 3560 handle_exceptions: Exception: STATUS_ACCESS_VIOLATION

170588 [main] vcdxbuild 3560 open_stackdumpfile: Dumping stack trace to vcdxbuild.exe.stackdump

Can someone please tell me what is going wrong?
i do the same as the other 2 files but still i get this error.
I tryed it for severall times.

    APPIE,
Try and be patient. As I've stated in the past this isn't a real time chat and it may take some time before someone has an answer for you. I wish I could offer you some help with your question, but I haven't run into that particular problem with VCDEasy. I'm sure someone will come along soon enough with an answer for you.
    Warning! I'm baaaaaaaaack

  7. @ Appie

I had that problem by a friend once or twice.

The MPEG@-file had a SVCD header: The problem occured

when it had a VCD-NON STANDARD header : NO ERROR

So I think that there once in a while errors are in the multi-plexing procces.

Ever tried Multi-plexing the file Again ? Even with other multi-plex tools ?

I rather think that there was an error in the encoding procces, altough when you play the file on pc or home-dvd you will not see/hear an error.(burned without chapters)

Ever tried to re-encode the third part of your movie?

I myself have never tested this. My friend burned the cd without chapters.
    and the cd played fine

I'm making suggestions, not giving solutions as I never had tested it.

I hope my meaning could help you to find the solution.

    greetings Oermens
