    Not surprising or news.
    There's ALWAYS a 0-day exploit or exploitable, undiscovered/unrevealed flaw in all modern operating systems.
    It's only when it's revealed do the hackers cry because they can't make money off them any longer.

    Not really surprised either. WHile I'm not averse to FOSS software (I AM a Linux user), I'm not rabid about it, and if you think open source code is always safer think again.

    My favorite was an exploitable bug in an open source encryption program that sat there for over 20 years. WIth encryption, thiough, you're often dealing with advanced number theory. Having the source code readable by all isn't going to help much if almost no one, even most computer programmers, can't undtand it.
