Can anyone help me figure out specifically how to include win32 codecs like huffyuv when capturing with ffmpeg or transcode? The only avi format compression I've been able to get to work is mjpeg and it looks like crap. I don't have any problem capturing straight to mpeg for use as vcd's but I cannot figure out how to record straight svcd compatible mpeg without recording it to an avi first and converting it second(like virtualdub followed by tmpenc). I've also had lots of problems getting software like kmencoder and kavi2svcd to compile also, they always completely lock up my computer when I try to use them. Sorry to stick so much in one post. too many questions, too little time.
