  1. Does anyone have experience with the Dazzle Video Creator I or the Creative Labs Movie Maker product?

I am interested in possibly purchasing a hardware based MPEG product and these seem to be the two major names I have found in the under $200 market.

  2. I have the Creative Movie Maker. The quality is terrible. The MPEG-2 is of such low quality it's useless. The VCD quality is very low. But VCDs will play on standalone DVD players -- when I first bought it, the stupid thing wouldn't even make compliant VCDs that I could play. After about six months, Creative put out a patch on its website. Now it just plays badly.
