But it isn't neccesary to use commercial software to download this kind of video (HDS) just use HDS Link detector in Firefox comined with the AdobeHDS.php script by KSV.

I tried the HDS Link detector but for some reason I get an error message when I try to install any version of the link detector into Firefox on my Windows 7 computer. I have Firefox 45.0.2. I googled the error, but the answers were too geeky for me to understand. Maybe if I use a different version of Firefox, that would solve the problem. I might also try the HDS Link Detector GUI to see if I have any luck. I used to use the HDS Link detector on my Xp computer on a Japanese site, but they changed something and the link never appeared anymore. For the Japanese site, now I use youtube-dl. The Firefox 25 on my Xp computer won't even play videos on the on the Filipino site. But Tubedigger does work well on the Filipino site.

What version of TubeDigger are you using? I downloaded the version on VideoHelp and it does not work

I'm using ver 5.6.4. You can use the free version but it only downloads 50% of the video. The way I used it to capture the Filipino video is start Tubedigger and press "Monitor Browsers" button (see screenshot, red circle). When it is pressed, there will be a small circle on the button. (Don't put the video url in the Tubedigger address bar.) Then start Firefox, go to the website, sign in and start the video (ads come on first). After about a minute after the main video starts, and you should see a lot of entries in the Tubedigger download box at the bottom. Some are the ads, but the video entries are towards the bottom. Different resolutions will be listed. Then you can choose one of the entries and download it. You can close out the Firefox window.

But I thought you should know that you posted some random s4 amazon link after my search for ""ssuers" and was able to download a crazy evergreen webinar (onlinemeetingnow) that was using rmtp ..

No way to look at developer tools > network or inspect the elements to find the video.

All I could find was a relative path to the mp4.

Plugged in the amazon s3 user account url and the rest of the relative path .. boom .. mp4 downloaded.

I got the m3u8 and downloaded with youtube-dl, file similar in size to what you got, but the file would not play in vlc.

Thank you for your patience, obviously I've never done this before.

Now I'm trying to set up ffmpeg.exe and having the same problem as before, it blips on then off.

I'm pretty sure it's because of the ffmpeg.exe folder. Do you just plunk the whole file into the youtube-dl.exe or do you take out the components in the bin file?

Also, what is the correct PATH for the ''enviroment variables''?

I used hideallip to download the video. Hideallip has several entries for Australia. (See below screenshot) The first entry I tried didn't work. I tried another Australia entry and that worked. I don't know why the first one didn't work. Maybe something to do with IP numbers, as each entry has a different IP number.
