This may sound harsh but I, and probably others too, simply do not have the time or inclination to 'walk' you through the entire process of capturing with vdub
It seems, however, that you are treating it as a 'one-click' program whereas you have to go through several settings options including the video compression if that previous sample really was uncompressed.
There are probably many tutorials out there of how you set it up - these 'windows' you write about are for editing NOT capture - and I suggest you seek these out.
Try StreamFab Downloader and download from Netflix, Amazon, Youtube! Or Try DVDFab and copy Blu-rays! or rip iTunes movies!

fixed the problem with the size it was auto set from pal
its ntsc now 720*480
but for some strange reason no video capture screen is showing
I know its working as its viable when I select cropping then its running
the picture is set to overlay s found that on the web
and going though everything it should show -
it was showing when it was first changed from pal to ntsc
but switching back its still not there -
Full Frame is the correct name, with Full Frame you don't see the Full Screen,
With Letter Box you can see the Full/Wide Screen within the 4:3 frame
Capturing letterbox will be the same as capturing Full Frame, not capturing the black bars will decrease the resolution,
and for playing video you do that for 4:3 or 16:9Last edited by Eric-jan; 29th Dec 2019 at 14:04.
