I have been trying out free video editors and VSDC seemed to have been the best for my needs except for one thing. It is unbelievably
slow. Takes about 3 seconds for any command to take place. Move the cursor down the timeline? takes three seconds. Press play? takes
    3 seconds.

It has everything else that I've wanted, especially the fact that it exports lossless audio (PCM 1411kbps). Other VEs I have tried have been very smooth and not laggy at all, but
rarely have the lossless .WAV export option (1411kbps) so I know it is not my computer.

I am willing to pay for one, but I want the free version to have what my basic needs are and THEN I will pay for a premium version to get an upgrade. I wonder if I buy
the premium version of VSDC it would start to run smoothly?? haha, yeah probably not.

    Any recommendations?
