  1. Hi all,

Could someone recommend me some TRUE 2x DVD-r's. I tried to search in google but the lowest burning speed i could find was 4x.
    Thanks in advance.

The 'DVD Media' guide to the left lists 43 2X DVD discs that will work in a Pioneer 104, if that's what you are looking for.

But finding somewhere that still sells them will be a problem. Most stores are selling 4x as the slowest speed.
The 4x disks should still burn OK on a slower burner so long as the firmware will accept the media.

  4. The Optodisc's that places like SVP here in the UK are selling (http://www.blankdiscshop.co.uk) are very good in my experience, and a bit of a bargain too because everyone wants cutting edge these days. Some recorders only write to them at 1x, but they're good for 2x and even work on my arse of a Sony standalone (which is saying something).
