    Hi,
I tried to make an MPG file from an AVI file using the VCD preset in ffmpegX. Although the two files have the same resolution (352x240) the MPG file looks "stretched" (I hope this is the correct word) with black borders around the picture. I wouldn't have been surprised if the original file had "wrong" resolution, but why does this happen when it has the same resolution as the output file..?

  2. It should not happen, but try to disable the "Letterbox" option in that case.
