  1. Hello again..

Here is the problem I have talked about earlier.
I rip with my Terratech H5 with software DVBViewer.

I have used cutted the commercial and used DECOMB program I use is Handbrake 0.9.6

    Problem:
I really cant explain I just see it like something wrong with the picture and I have no idea why or what.

Link for sample http://gupl.dk/678204/ Then click in the yellow text that means "Download the file"

    Sincerly

  2. It's been poorly deinterlaced (handbreak uses yadif) , leaving deinterlacing artifacts and "jaggies" or aliasing. These artifacts look like line twittering on consecutive frames. It's easier to see on straight lines.

It's also been single rate deinterlaced (25p vs. 50p) so motion is not as smooth

There are better deinterlacers available in avisynth (e.g. QTGMC) , but processing is slower

So what do I do then?

  4. You need to use a better deinterlacer . QTGMC is probaby the best overall. It's very slow but you can use a faster preset and get 95% of the quality and it will be many times faster than the slower settings

See this related post on football (soccer) , especially the screenshots on post #6. Notice the deinterlacing artifacts when using yadif and the "marching ants" artifacts
