  1. if burned about 94 min or 945 mb on a cd-r and they played nicely on my cyberhome dvd player. I used nero 5.038 to burn. has anyone tried 99 min cd-r ???
    They schould be able to fit about 120 min of vcd.
    Where can i get those cd-r in germany ??

  2. 1) It's impossible to get 120 min of Video on a 99 min CD-R, unless you're using a non standard compression (1000 kbps Video + 128 kbps Audio).

    2) There is very few players that can play more than 90 min!

    3) Using non standard compression reduces your chances to get the VCD working properly

    4) I tested some 90 min CD-Rs (available by Karstadt and Media Markt in Germany), and they played well in my hifi-system (Audio-CD).

    5) If you want to buy 99 min CD-Rs, go to: http://www.disc4you.de

    NB: I don't recommend the 99 ones (very bad compatibility)
